Questions
What Tavero is
Tavero runs the floor of a hot tub dealership — what is in stock, what it is
priced at, who bought it, what is owed, and what still has to be delivered. It was built inside a
working store, for the jobs that store does every day.
Tavero is
- A floor and inventory system — every tub, its serial, color, and cabinet, and whether
it is on the floor, on the truck, sold, or delivered
- A quote and invoice builder that prints your branding, your pricing, and your terms
- A customer record, built automatically from the documents you write
- A delivery queue and a commission tracker
- Cover stock — what covers you are holding, by size and color
- Multi-location, priced per location
Tavero is not
- A point of sale system. It does not run a register, open a cash drawer, swipe a
card, or move money. It records the payments you tell it about, so the invoice and the
balance are right
- A payment processor or a lender — financing stays with whoever you already use
- An accounting package. It is not a replacement for QuickBooks or for your bookkeeper
- A website builder or a marketing platform
- A parts and service ticketing system
How it works
How does a spa get onto the floor?
You add your brands and models once, during onboarding, with the prices you sell at. After
that you add units as they arrive — serial, color, cabinet — and each one is a physical tub the
system can track through to delivery.
What happens when I write an invoice?
The invoice is saved to your document history straight away, and the customer record is
created or updated at the same time. The tub itself stays on the floor until a payment is
recorded against that invoice — that is the moment it is treated as sold, leaves your floor
count, and enters the delivery queue with commission attached.
Why is the tub not marked sold until a payment?
Because a written invoice is not a sale. Until money has moved, the tub is still yours and
still sellable, and your floor count should say so. The paperwork and the customer are recorded
either way, so nothing is lost if the deal takes a week to close.
Can I edit an invoice after it is written?
Yes. If you swap the spa on a document, the unit that came off it goes back to floor stock
automatically, along with its pending delivery and commission, and the change is written into the
customer's timeline.
What do customers actually see?
A PDF quote or invoice with your dealership's name, logo, and colors on it. If you add a
Google review link, a review card is printed on your invoices — and if you have not added one, it
is not printed at all.
Accounts and access
How do I get an account?
By invitation. Tavero is not open for public sign-up while it is early — we set up dealers one
at a time so onboarding is done properly. Email
Support@taverosystems.com to start.
Can other dealers see my inventory or my customers?
No. Each dealership's records are separated at the database level, not just hidden in the
interface, so a signed-in user can only ever read the rows belonging to their own dealership.
Can staff see everything?
No. Manager-only areas — sales figures, commission, settings, and pricing — are separate from
what a salesperson sees day to day.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Tavero runs in a browser at app.taverosystems.com, on the desk, on a laptop, or on a phone
out on the floor.
What about my existing numbers?
Onboarding is where your brands, models, prices, and current floor stock go in. That is what
the one-time onboarding fee covers, and it is why we do it with you rather than handing over an
empty system.
Money
How is it priced?
Per location, per month, on the plan you choose, plus a one-time onboarding fee. Current plan
pricing is on the main page. Annual billing is ten months' price for
twelve.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Monthly accounts can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the period
you have paid for. You can export your data whenever you want.
Who owns the data?
You do. We do not sell it, and we do not give it to another dealer, manufacturer, or
distributor. What we do access, and why, is set out plainly in section 5 of the
Terms of Service.
